ENCARTE: QUEENSRYCHE [2]

Depoimento enlutado de Geoff Tate, metido a antropólogo, semioticista e sociólogo (ou citando texto sem revelar a fonte) constando do encarte em “Tribe” (2003):

A tribe is simply a gathering together of people with a learned commonality.

We find confort in the reinforcement of learned beliefs, habits, practices and philosophies. We rely heavily on external sources for love, enchantment, fulfillment and happiness. We believe in the concept of ‘lack’, and this belief is reinforced by our culture, our tribe, and is what fuels the western industrial complex, the economy. We believe, so therefore it is as we perceive and our perceptions are what dictate our emotions and our responses. We can decide how we react or feel. In an instant we can feel different or better, the choice is ours to make.

After the events of 9/11 I set out on a search to find America and to find myself. These words found me, I give them to you…
